Position Title: Welder/Fabricator, 2nd Shift
Do you like variety? In this position you can earn responsibility for setting up and welding a wide variety of sub-assemblies and complex final assemblies using fixtures as required, from a wide range of materials. Fabrication experience is preferred. Check out the “Galleries” tab of this site to get a taste of the products or customers.
Skill-specific education and/or previous experience in a manufacturing setting is required and determines starting pay. This positions also requires high school diploma (or equivalent) with competent basic math, print reading skills and mechanical abilities. Manual dexterity, safety-consciousness and a commitment to quality are also essential.

Regular standing, walking, grasping, stooping and heavy lifting activities are all necessary to these positions, which also require at least average vision and English language reading abilities. Work is performed in a noisy industrial plant where dust, oils and some non-toxic fumes are present.
